friday morning thoughts

The verse posted next to my mirror reads: "When my foot was slipping, your love, O Lord, supported me..." What I want to know is...where was the Lord last night when I bit it walking up the stairs to bed? This morning I've got a sore, starting-to-discolor knot on my knee. Oh well. Battle scar.

Another thought...have you ever tried to communicate with someone who speaks a different language from you? That's what I do ALL DAY LONG.

OUCH! How did you fall UP the stairs? I always fall down them (usually having stepped on Barbie or a Bionical!).

What year did you go to Westbury Christian? I went from Preschool to 4th grade--1975 to 1981.

Cheers! : )

Thanks for your encouraging note. I have been reading your entries and I realized we have a lot in common. I went to ACU, I went to Highland while I was there and also love Mike Cope's blog, and I agree with most of your "Why I love Texas" list. Did I know you at ACU? When did you graduate? You almost have a one year old! I bet you can't believe it. Mine is 6 months and the days seem to fly by faster and faster. Hope your bruise is better. :)

LOL--sounds like we were at Westbury at the same time. : ) I went to Westbury Church of Christ, though. I was born/raised in Houston. I didn't move to Alabama until 1994. Let's see . . .
I can't remember who I had for preschool.
Mrs. Westler for kindergarten
Mrs. Thomas for 1st.
public school for 2nd
Mrs. Onstead for 3rd.
Mrs. Hall for 4th
