In absolutely-unrelated-and-insignficant-to-my-life news, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are engaged. For anyone reading this, I promise I'm not usually swept up in the personal lives of celebrities. But this relationship strikes me as really, really wacky. The whole thing completely weirds me out for numerous reasons.

hahaha - the jumping over the couch thing is wacky to me, oh and the scientology thing too.
I watched Katie on Letterman last week and I thought, "What was that girl thinkin' of?"...:) Tom even has a scientology groupie that hangs with Katie as her "protectress." Mmmm. I will admit that the Eiffel Tower proposal is classy. I proposed to Marsha at the red light at South 3rd and Sayles in Abilene...Don't ask.
People, it's all business. She makes him young and relevant (although does he need that), and he makes her 10 times more famous and important.
For the life of me I can't figure out how a 43 year old man can have something in common with a 27 year old woman. I mean TC was shooting "All the Right Moves" when KH was only five years old.
His name is Christian Bale...and I much prefer him over TC. I've had a crush on him ever since I saw him in "Empire of the Sun".
