freedom of speech
One of the great things about America is that a grieving mother can protest war in a relatively peaceful environment. This is one of the reasons why I am grateful to live in this country.

But is seems that parents of fallen soldiers cannot grieve in peace at a funeral without a so called Christian telling them God hates them, and they are damned because they are defending fags.
Some people take advantage of their freedoms. The Westboro Baptist church to which I refer even has children out picketing these funerals and holding hate signs. wwwbaptistwatch
Woe be unto those church leaders. Remember what Christ had to say of those that cause children to sin.

Yes, Tony, unfortunately with freedom of speech comes the speech of unloving people. I'm just glad Cindy Sheehan and anyone like her can speak their mind without the government squashing them like bugs.

Watching the protest and support of the President from here in Central Texas, I wonder if Cindy remembers the fact that young boys died to give her such a freedom?
Byron - I would think Cindy Sheehan is very aware of that fact, being that her own son did so.
I doubt Cindy Sheehan gives a flip about anyone but herself. Her husband divorced her and her other two kids are begging for her to come home. I personally think she is unbalanced and being used by the liberal left.

HM - Even if you disagree with Ms. Sheehan for whatever reason, what about all the other anti-war protestors? The great thing about America is that THEY have THEIR opinion and YOU have YOUR opinion and EVERYONE has the freedom to express those opinions whenever they want, wherever they want.
