exercise
Time and time and TIME AGAIN I hear about the benefits of exercise. Do I need to list the specifics? Just google "exercise" and see for yourself. So WHY is it so hard for me to actually do it???
Maybe because I LOATHE EXERCISE. How do I make the time??? How do I motivate myself??? HOW, I ASK YOU???

Ha! Don't ask me! I certainly don't know! Good luck with that and let me know how YOU do it when you do :-)
Waiting for a great answer to your post. I need to do it, want to do it...yet don't get off my butt and do it.
Tony
I know this sounds SO DUMB, but I LOVE Jazzercise. Mine has great instructors and free babysitting that my kids love going to which makes it easier for me. I enjoy the routines- cheesy as they may be- and it's kind of fun to watch some of the old ladies really get into it. I've also made some great friends there. I don't do too well at a regular gym- I thrive on routine and Jazzercise holds me accountable. I still need to lose about 10 pounds- but I'm getting there!!!
Oh, but I think Tony might feel a little out of place.
jana,
i took a ballet class, which was hard work for a klutz like me, but it made me stronger.
(confession: I quit after...lets just say I had a wardrobe malfunction with my leotard...and I never could face the music again!)
However, it really helped my posture and core strength.
This is probably dumb to suggest, but put Rowan in his stroller, and walk--fast--wherever you need to go, or go nowhere in particular. Cali is sidewalk heaven, TN may not be...but I promise you, as simple as it sounds, walking makes a huge difference for me.
good luck,
shannon
It's hard to get started, I will give you that. But the thing is, I can tell you I feel 10 times better having done it. It really affects myself and every other relationship and interaction with human beings I have.
And the thing is--don't feel like you have to go and do an uber work out day one. Go and do what you can, get used to it....
Trust me..it's worth it.
